Modular Seating
Modular seating that builds sofas from single seats, corners and curves - rearrange the breakout area whenever the mood takes you.
Modular seating is sofa furniture in kit form: single seats, corner units, curved sections and ottomans that butt together into whatever shape the room needs. Buy the pieces, arrange them, then rearrange them next year when the breakout area moves or the team outgrows it, rather than buying another sofa.
It suits open-plan space that keeps changing its mind. A straight run of units lines a wall, an S-curve breaks up a bare floor plate, and a circular island gives reception something to sit around. Contract-grade foam and fabric underneath, so the arrangement stays flexible and the seat does not.
Frequently asked questions
What is modular seating?
Seating built from separate units that join together, so one product makes a straight run, a corner sofa, a circular booth or an island in the middle of a floor. You buy the units and the configuration follows. There are 7 ranges here, from £202.
How do I work out what to order?
Draw the shape you want first, then count the units it takes, then count the joins, because linking brackets are ordered separately on most ranges. If that sounds like work, send us the floor plan and we will do it and quote the lot as one job.
Can we rearrange it later?
That is the whole point of buying modular rather than a sofa. The units unlink and go back together in another shape. What stops a layout drifting between rearrangements is the linking bracket, which is why they are worth buying at the same time.
How long does delivery take?
Every unit here is made to order in the fabric and configuration you choose, so allow 10 to 15 working days. It also means it cannot be cancelled or returned once the order is acknowledged, so it is worth getting the layout right before you check out.
How many fabrics are there?
Around 34 upholstery colourways across the category, and units within one scheme can be ordered in different colours if you want the shape picked out rather than uniform.
Do you offer installation?
Yes, on everything here. The crew deliver it, build it, put it where you want it and take the packaging away. It starts at £25.95 an item and the exact price is on each product page. Installs usually happen within about 10 working days, and the team agree the day with you rather than simply turning up.
Does it come assembled?
A good deal of it arrives ready to use rather than flat-packed, which is common on steel products. Where something does need building, the instructions and fittings are in the box, and pre-assembled delivery or installation can be picked at checkout instead.
What warranty does it come with?
Each product carries the manufacturer's warranty and the period is stated on that product's page, often broken down by part: the structure for one length of time, the mechanism and the fabric for another. If something fails inside the warranty, report it from your order page and we deal with the manufacturer for you.
Can I see it in 3D?
Every one of the 7 products in this category has a 3D model on the page rather than only photographs. The viewer spins the actual model, and changing a colour or a size on the page changes the model with it, which is worth doing before committing a whole room to a finish.
Can I change my mind after ordering?
On stocked items, yes: tell us within 14 days of receiving them and raise it from your order page, with the goods unused and back in their packaging. Most of this range is made to order, though, and made-to-order goods cannot be cancelled once acknowledged or returned because you have changed your mind. Each product page says which it is before you buy.
Can you quote for a whole office?
Yes. For twenty items or more, or anything with a complication like a mezzanine or a lift that argues back, we plan the job and give you one quote covering the goods, delivery and installation. Ring 0208 138 0512 or email [email protected] with a rough list or a floor plan.
