What size key cabinet do I need?
Count the sets you hold and then add half again, because key cabinets fill up. The cabinets here are sized by hook count, and that is the number to shop by rather than the outside dimensions.
Why not just use a drawer?
Because a drawer of unlabelled keys is how a building loses track of who holds what. A cabinet gives every set a numbered hook and a lock, which is what makes an audit possible when somebody leaves or a key goes missing.
Is a cash box enough for takings?
For petty cash and a float on a counter, yes. For overnight holdings it is not: a cash box is a lockable container rather than a rated safe, and insurers distinguish sharply between the two. If you are holding cash overnight, look at the deposit safes instead and check the rating against your policy.
How long does delivery take?
Most of this category is ordered in from the maker for you rather than stocked, so allow 10 to 15 working days, and note it cannot be cancelled or returned once the order is under way.
Does it come assembled?
A good deal of it arrives ready to use rather than flat-packed, which is common on steel products. Where something does need building, the instructions and fittings are in the box, and pre-assembled delivery or installation can be picked at checkout instead.
What warranty does it come with?
Each product carries the manufacturer's warranty and the period is stated on that product's page, often broken down by part: the structure for one length of time, the mechanism and the fabric for another. If something fails inside the warranty, report it from your order page and we deal with the manufacturer for you.
Can I change my mind after ordering?
On stocked items, yes: tell us within 14 days of receiving them and raise it from your order page, with the goods unused and back in their packaging. Most of this range is made to order, though, and made-to-order goods cannot be cancelled once acknowledged or returned because you have changed your mind. Each product page says which it is before you buy.
