Oak Office Desks

Oak office desks in a mid-tone that holds up under strip lighting, from single cantilever desks through to bench runs and dual motor sit-stand frames.

Oak lands on 32 of the desks we sell. It is the finish that makes an office look slightly less like one. There are cantilever and panel end frames among the straight desks, and whole rows of oak on the bench workstations. The electric standing desks take an oak top too. So do the crescent corner desks. All of it comes out of the wider desk section.

Take oak off the filter and the same desks come back in walnut, beech, maple and grey oak. The rest of your choices stay put. Width, depth, frame style and price all narrow further down the left. Oak is a top finish rather than a different desk. A cantilever costs the same in oak as in any other shade. This cut starts at £120.

Frequently asked questions

What is oak finish?

A wood-effect surface on MFC board rather than solid timber, which is what nearly all contract furniture uses. It wipes clean, resists marking and does not need treating. Everything on this page offers oak as a choice on its product page.

Will oak match between products?

Within one range it will, because it is the same board. Between different ranges and makers it can differ slightly even under the same name, which is the usual trap. If a desk and a cupboard have to sit together, order them from the same range.

Does the oak finish cost extra?

On almost everything here, no: the finish is picked on the product page at the same price. Where a finish does carry a different price, the page shows it before you add anything to the basket.

What other finishes are there?

Plenty. This page is the oak cut of the catalogue, and most of these products offer several finishes on their own page. Open one and the full list is there, so you can see oak against the alternatives.

Is this page kept up to date?

It is a live cut of the catalogue rather than a hand-written list, so it always shows what we can actually supply today. There are 32 desks on it at the moment, from £108. Anything out of stock is hidden, so if you can see it and add it to a basket, we can get it.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery is free on everything, and most of it lands inside a week. Express delivery is offered on much of the range, priced per item on the product page, and gets an order to you within two working days if you place it before 5pm. Nothing here is made to order, so the lead times are the standard ones.

What warranty does it come with?

Guarantees across this selection run from 5 to 10 years, depending on the product and the part, and the figure is on every product page. Structure, mechanism, electrics, and fabric and foam are often covered for different lengths of time. If something fails inside the warranty, report it from your order page and we deal with the manufacturer for you.

Can I see it in 3D?

Every one of the 32 products in this selection has a 3D model on the page rather than only photographs. The viewer spins the actual model, and changing a colour or a size on the page changes the model with it, which is worth doing before committing a whole room to a finish.

Can you quote for a whole office?

Yes. For twenty items or more, or anything with a complication like a mezzanine or a lift that argues back, we plan the job and give you one quote covering the goods, delivery and installation. Ring 0208 138 0512 or email [email protected] with a rough list or a floor plan.
