The Evolve Plus is designed to grow, reduce or alter shape easily and without fuss, and this single row bench desk extension kit is how it grows. Rather than buying a whole new bench, an extension bay conjoins with the frame you already own, adding one more seat and keeping the desktop as one continuous, uninterrupted surface just 80cm deep. It is the future proof way to plan desking: start with the bench the team needs today, and extend it a seat at a time as the business fills the room.

The same desk, right down to the details

An extension only works if it matches, so the kit carries every Evolve Plus detail: a lockable sliding top for easy access to the cabling below, a scalloped back edge that drops wiring off the back of the desk, a 25mm thick top with 2mm protective edging, and adjustable feet to keep the extended run level. Tops come in seven finishes including Beech, Oak, Walnut and White, over goal post legs in Black, Silver or White, and the range matches our storage and Impulse desking too.

Desktop

  • 25mm thick top with 2mm protective edging. The same solid, hard-wearing MFC surface as the rest of the bench.

  • Lockable sliding top mechanism. The new desktop slides open for easy access to cables, then locks back into the continuous surface.

  • Scalloped back edge for easy cable management. Wiring from the new seat drops off the back of the desk like the rest of the row.

  • Three widths: 120cm, 140cm or 160cm. Match the width of the bench you are extending so the run stays flush.

Frame and legs

  • Conjoinable frame system. The kit joins directly onto an existing Evolve Plus single row bench, extending it by one workstation.

  • Powder coated goal post legs in Black, Silver or White. Pick the colour of the original bench and the extension disappears into it.

  • Adjustable feet. Keeps the extended run solid and level even where the floor is not.

  • 65.5cm clearance under the top. Comfortable knee room for any office chair at the new seat.

Size, capacity and finishes

  • 80cm deep, 75cm high. A slim single row footprint at standard sitting height, matching the existing bench.

  • Seven desktop finishes. Beech, Grey Oak, Maple, Oak, Walnut, White, or White & Natural Wood, matching our storage and Impulse ranges.

    Straightforward extension

    One more desk on the end of the row, took an hour. Legs and top matched what we already had. Nothing to it really.
