Black Frame Office Desks

Black frame office desks in cantilever, cable managed, bench and sit-stand builds. Twenty-eight in all, priced from £120 to £915.

Black metalwork hides a scuff and argues with nothing. Most offices default to it for exactly that reason. It runs through the rectangular desks and the crescent corner desks. The Evolve Plus bench workstations add people two at a time. The Air sit-stand desks come in it as well. Twenty-eight desks in the desk listing are ordered with a black frame, from £120 up to £915.

Take black off and the other frames come back into the list. Your other choices stay put. After that the panel narrows by desk type, by width, by storage underneath, or by price. Frame colour is the steel and nothing else. A black frame Impulse takes the same desktop finishes as the silver one. The £915 at the top of the page is a dual motor electric standing desk.

Frequently asked questions

What is the frame colour?

The legs and the steelwork, picked separately from the top. That is the useful part: you can have a wood or white top on a black frame, so the two do not have to agree.

Which frame colour should I pick?

White and silver frames recede and keep a room feeling light. Black frames define the furniture and hide scuffs, which is why they suit busy floors. If you are adding to desks you already have, match the frame as well as the top, because a mismatched frame is more noticeable than a slightly different wood.

Does the frame colour change the price?

On almost everything, no: it is a choice on the product page at the same price. Where it does differ, the page shows it before you add anything to the basket.

Is this page kept up to date?

It is a live cut of the catalogue rather than a hand-written list, so it always shows what we can actually supply today. There are 28 desks on it at the moment, from £108. Anything out of stock is hidden, so if you can see it and add it to a basket, we can get it.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery is free on everything, and most of it lands inside a week. Express delivery is offered on much of the range, priced per item on the product page, and gets an order to you within two working days if you place it before 5pm. Nothing here is made to order, so the lead times are the standard ones.

What warranty does it come with?

Guarantees across this selection run from 5 to 10 years, depending on the product and the part, and the figure is on every product page. Structure, mechanism, electrics, and fabric and foam are often covered for different lengths of time. If something fails inside the warranty, report it from your order page and we deal with the manufacturer for you.

Can I see it in 3D?

27 of the 28 products in this selection have a 3D model on the page rather than only photographs. The viewer spins the actual model, and changing a colour or a size on the page changes the model with it, which is worth doing before committing a whole room to a finish.

Can you quote for a whole office?

Yes. For twenty items or more, or anything with a complication like a mezzanine or a lift that argues back, we plan the job and give you one quote covering the goods, delivery and installation. Ring 0208 138 0512 or email [email protected] with a rough list or a floor plan.
