A stool that balances with you

Sit on the Sitall and the base does something clever: the balance spherical base tilts with you, while the counter-weighted, self-stabilising action and grippy elastomer sole keep everything firmly under control. The result is movement without wobble. You lean towards the bench, reach across the desk, angle yourself to a colleague, and the stool follows, keeping your core gently engaged and your posture upright rather than slumped. At 15kg it is properly planted; this is engineering, not a novelty.

The extra-long reach gas lift covers 61cm to 86cm, an unusually wide span that takes the Sitall from conventional seated positions to contemporary sit stand perching at desks, benches and counters. Adjustment is delightfully simple: press any one of the three hidden buttons set into the seat shell and the height moves with you. The tri-cornered saddle seat with its high density cushion supports you in an open hip position that makes perching genuinely comfortable.

    Genuinely changed how I sit

    The self balancing base means you are constantly making small adjustments, which sounds tiring and is actually the opposite. My lower back is much happier. Takes a week to adapt.
