Office Tables
Office tables for meetings, training, dining and breakout spaces - because not every table lives behind a desk.
A desk is for one person; a table is for getting people around. This range of office tables covers the boardroom table that has to impress, modular conference setups that reconfigure by the hour, flip-top training tables that fold away when the course ends, and canteen, café and coffee tables for the more enjoyable parts of the day.
Sizes run from two-seater bistro rounds to boardroom tables that seat the whole company, with cable management where laptops gather and finishes to match the rest of the furniture. Pick a sub-category to suit the occasion.
Frequently asked questions
What table do I need for what?
Meeting and boardroom tables for sit-down meetings. Training tables where the layout has to change. Folding and flip-top where the room has another use. Poseur and bar height for stand-up meetings and breakout. Coffee and side tables for reception. Café and bistro for staff catering. 55 tables here, from £38.
How many people will a table seat?
Allow 60cm to 70cm of edge per person and leave room to pull a chair out behind them. A 180cm rectangular table seats six comfortably. Round tables seat fewer than people expect for the same diameter, but they are better for a conversation where everybody should be able to see everybody.
Does the shape matter?
Rectangular seats the most per square metre and has a clear head of the table. Round and barrel shapes put everybody on equal terms and suit discussion. D-end softens a long boardroom table. Trapezium and semi-circle tops are for training rooms, because they push together into different layouts.
What about the leg type?
It decides where people can sit. A post or pedestal base leaves the edge clear all the way round, which is why bistro and meeting tables use them. A box or sled frame is more stable under load but puts a leg where somebody's knees want to be. Check the leg positions against the seating plan for anything over about 160cm.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is free on everything, and most of it lands inside a week. Express delivery is offered on much of the range, priced per item on the product page, and gets an order to you within two working days if you place it before 5pm. Fourteen of the 55 products here are made to order rather than stocked, and those take 10 to 15 working days. The product page says which, and shows the date it will arrive by before you pay.
Do you offer installation?
Yes, on everything here. The crew deliver it, build it, put it where you want it and take the packaging away. It starts at £17.95 an item and the exact price is on each product page. Installs usually happen within about 10 working days, and the team agree the day with you rather than simply turning up.
Does it come assembled?
Most of it arrives flat-packed, with the instructions and fittings in the box. If you would rather not build it, pre-assembled delivery and installation are offered on much of the range and priced per item on the product page.
What warranty does it come with?
Guarantees across this category run from 5 to 10 years, depending on the product and the part, and the figure is on every product page. Structure, mechanism, electrics, and fabric and foam are often covered for different lengths of time. If something fails inside the warranty, report it from your order page and we deal with the manufacturer for you.
Can I see it in 3D?
23 of the 55 products in this category have a 3D model on the page rather than only photographs. The viewer spins the actual model, and changing a colour or a size on the page changes the model with it, which is worth doing before committing a whole room to a finish.
Can I change my mind after ordering?
On stocked items, yes: tell us within 14 days of receiving them and raise it from your order page, with the goods unused and back in their packaging. Nine of the 55 products here are made to order, though, and those cannot be cancelled once acknowledged or returned because you have changed your mind. Each product page says which it is before you buy.
Can you quote for a whole office?
Yes. For twenty items or more, or anything with a complication like a mezzanine or a lift that argues back, we plan the job and give you one quote covering the goods, delivery and installation. Ring 0208 138 0512 or email [email protected] with a rough list or a floor plan.
