Why bother with a monitor arm?
It gets the screen to eye level, which is where it should be if people are not going to spend the day looking down, and it frees the desktop underneath. It also makes a shared desk workable, because the next person can move the screen rather than living with your setting.
Will it fit my monitor?
Check two things: the VESA pattern on the back of the screen, which is the square of four holes and is usually 75mm or 100mm, and the weight of the screen against the arm rating on the specification tab. Most office monitors are well inside what these carry. Curved and ultrawide screens are heavier than they look.
How does it attach to the desk?
Usually a clamp on the back edge, sometimes a grommet fixing through a cable port. Both need the desktop to overhang enough for the clamp to bite, so check the thickness of your top against the specification. A 25mm MFC desktop, which is what most of our desks use, is fine.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is free on everything, and most of it lands inside a week. Express delivery is offered on much of the range, priced per item on the product page, and gets an order to you within two working days if you place it before 5pm. Nothing here is made to order, so the lead times are the standard ones.
Do you offer installation?
Yes, on two of the 6 products here. The crew deliver it, build it, put it where you want it and take the packaging away. It starts at £25.95 an item and the exact price is on each product page. Installs usually happen within about 10 working days, and the team agree the day with you rather than simply turning up.
Does it come assembled?
Most of it arrives flat-packed, with the instructions and fittings in the box. If you would rather not build it, pre-assembled delivery and installation are offered on much of the range and priced per item on the product page.
What warranty does it come with?
Guarantees across this category run from 1 to 2 years, depending on the product and the part, and the figure is on every product page. Structure, mechanism, electrics, and fabric and foam are often covered for different lengths of time. If something fails inside the warranty, report it from your order page and we deal with the manufacturer for you.
