Coffee & Side Tables
Coffee tables and side tables for receptions and soft seating - somewhere for the coffee, the brochures and the elbows.
Every arrangement of soft seating is incomplete until it has a low table in front of it. Coffee tables and occasional pieces finish receptions and breakout corners - a place for drinks, literature and phones, and the visual anchor that turns scattered armchairs into a considered seating area.
Scales and shapes suit the setting: neat side tables between two tub chairs, generous rectangles fronting a sofa, circular pieces softening a corner. Tops and frames coordinate with our soft seating ranges, so the reception looks curated rather than assembled from leftovers.
Frequently asked questions
What are these for?
Reception and breakout: somewhere to put a coffee, a laptop or the magazines nobody reads. 16 here from £38, in circles, squares, barrels and D-ends, with glass and wood-effect tops.
What height should a coffee table be?
Roughly the seat height of the sofa it serves, or a little below. Too tall and it dominates; too low and people cannot reach it from the back of a deep sofa. Our soft seating pages give seat heights, so the two can be checked against each other before ordering.
Is a glass top practical in a reception?
It looks good and wipes clean, and it shows every fingerprint, which in a busy waiting area means daily attention. If nobody is going to do that, a wood-effect top will look better on an average Tuesday.
Can I match them to the soft seating?
Yes. The frame colours and finishes here are the same ones used across our soft seating and breakout ranges, so a reception can be ordered as a scheme rather than as separate purchases that nearly go together.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is free on everything, and most of it lands inside a week. Express delivery is offered on much of the range, priced per item on the product page, and gets an order to you within two working days if you place it before 5pm. Five of the 16 products here are made to order rather than stocked, and those take 10 to 15 working days. The product page says which, and shows the date it will arrive by before you pay.
Do you offer installation?
Yes, on everything here. The crew deliver it, build it, put it where you want it and take the packaging away. It starts at £17.95 an item and the exact price is on each product page. Installs usually happen within about 10 working days, and the team agree the day with you rather than simply turning up.
Does it come assembled?
Most of it arrives flat-packed, with the instructions and fittings in the box. If you would rather not build it, pre-assembled delivery and installation are offered on much of the range and priced per item on the product page.
What warranty does it come with?
Guarantees across this category run from 5 to 10 years, depending on the product and the part, and the figure is on every product page. Structure, mechanism, electrics, and fabric and foam are often covered for different lengths of time. If something fails inside the warranty, report it from your order page and we deal with the manufacturer for you.
Can I see it in 3D?
Nine of the 16 products in this category have a 3D model on the page rather than only photographs. The viewer spins the actual model, and changing a colour or a size on the page changes the model with it, which is worth doing before committing a whole room to a finish.
Can you quote for a whole office?
Yes. For twenty items or more, or anything with a complication like a mezzanine or a lift that argues back, we plan the job and give you one quote covering the goods, delivery and installation. Ring 0208 138 0512 or email [email protected] with a rough list or a floor plan.
