Recline it, then lock it anywhere

The Relay's twin lever infinite lock mechanism holds the backrest at any point in its range, not just bolt upright, so the posture that suits typing and the one that suits thinking are both a lever-pull away. A weight tilt tension control matches the recline resistance to the person in the seat, and gas height adjustment moves the seat between 46cm and 55cm to suit most desks and most people.

Arms that get out of the way

Choose the Relay with fold back boomerang arms and the armrests sweep back out of the way in one movement: handy for pulling tight under a desk, playing an instrument, or simply preferring elbows-free typing without giving up arms for the rest of the day. Prefer a fixed working height you can tune? Take the height adjustable arm option instead. Either way the arms are removable entirely.

Two mesh shades, 22 seat finishes

The vented backrest design comes in black or silver mesh, both breathable enough to keep you cool through a stuffy afternoon. The seat cushion is upholstered to order: black leather or black airmesh from the classic end, or 20 bespoke colourways including the hard-wearing Rivet collection and Quest, made with yarn from recycled plastic bottles. Silver accent styling ties the look together.
