The seat is where the Portland HD earns its keep: 61cm wide and 54cm deep in high density soft moulded foam, upholstered in bespoke fabric, with gas height adjustment from 49cm to 59cm. Behind it, the large contoured mesh backrest lets air circulate through long sittings while its shape guides the spine, and the height adjustable lumbar support puts firm lower back support exactly where it is needed. A single lever locks the tilt when you want to sit steady, and the weight tension control matches the recline to the person in the seat.

Choose the chair with padded arms, which are removable, or order it armless to pull right under the desk.     Built for heavier users

    Rated well above a standard chair and you can feel the difference in the base and the gas lift. Six months of heavy daily use and no creaking at all.
