Sprung mesh, both sides of you

Mesh chairs usually stop at the backrest; the Mirage II carries its comfortable sprung mesh through the seat as well. Air moves freely on both surfaces, which makes a longer, warmer working day noticeably more pleasant, and the sprung weave gives underneath you instead of holding one taut shape. Integral lumbar support is shaped into the 43cm wide back, so the lower spine is looked after without a single knob to fiddle with, and an adjustable headrest is available for those who want support to go all the way up.

A mechanism that earns its keep

The reclining action is synchronised and damped with anti-shock, so the backrest never snaps forward when you release it, and an infinite lock holds any angle you choose rather than a handful of presets. Tilt tension adjustment matches the resistance to your build. The seat slides through 47cm to 52cm of depth so longer or shorter legs get full support without pressure behind the knees, and gas height adjustment covers 45cm to 55cm. Soft padded arms adjust from 66cm to 73cm and come off entirely if you prefer an armless chair.

    All mesh, properly adjustable

    Mesh seat and back, and arms that go up and down. Cool through a summer in a top floor office. Comfortable for a full day without any fidgeting.
