Geometry that does the team building

The trapezium earns its place in a training room through simple maths: acute corners of 60 degrees and obtuse corners of 120 degrees, with slanted sides measuring 80cm corner to corner. Push two together along their long edges and you get a hexagon that seats a discussion group facing each other; run them slant-to-slant and they snake around a room as a continuous zigzag; mix them with straight Impulse tables and the layout turns corners neatly. It is the shape that makes group working feel deliberate rather than improvised.

    Good shape for group work

    Trapezium tables push together into hexagons for group sessions and pull apart for exams. Fixed legs, which suits our layout. Sturdy and well finished.
