Group shapes on demand

The trapezium's maths do the work: 60 degree acute corners, 120 degree obtuse corners, and slanted sides measuring 80cm corner to corner. Two tables pushed long edge to long edge make a hexagon that seats a discussion group face to face; a run of them zigzags along a wall; mixed with straight Impulse tables they turn corners neatly. On castors, those layouts stop being a furniture-moving exercise and become part of running the session.

Built to be moved

Impulse is a contract desking and storage range, and this table is specified for a life on the roll: a heat resistant melamine top that shrugs off coffee cups, 2mm ABS edging to take the knocks a mobile table collects, and a 100kg weight capacity. The castors bring the overall height to 76cm, with 72.7cm of clear height and 139.3cm of clear width under the top, so chairs still tuck fully in along the long edge.

    Wheels plus the trapezium shape

    Same clever shape as the fixed version but on castors, so one person can reconfigure the room. We bought six and they get moved daily. Brakes hold.
