The desk that starts the bench

Every Impulse bench run begins with a starter bench desk for one person: a complete, self-supporting workstation with legs at both ends. On its own it is a clean, well-made single desk. Its real trick is the conjoinable frame system, which lets extension kits join the end of it later, growing one desk into a bench for two, three or more without fuss and without replacing what you already own. Cable ports where the cables actually are

The desk carries double cable ports, so monitor leads, chargers and laptop power drop straight through the desktop instead of trailing across it or over the back. At just 80cm deep it sits neatly against a wall or window, the 25mm thick top with 2mm protective edging shrugs off the everyday knocks from chairs and bags, and adjustable feet keep it solid and level even where the floor is not.

Finishes to match the rest of the office

The wood finished tops come in a choice of seven: Beech, Grey Oak, Maple, Oak, Walnut, White or Black, over goal post legs powder coated in Black, Silver or White.     Neat single desk

    Bought as a starter with the intention of adding to it, which we have since done. Solid on its own. The finish has matched the extension we ordered later.
