Drawers where the desk expects them

The storage here is fixed pedestal storage, planned into the desk rather than parked beside it. One, two or three drawers on a single side, a two drawer paired with a three drawer, or double pedestals flanking both ends: seven configurations in all, every one lockable. Files, laptops and the drawer of things every desk accumulates all stay secure, and the desk still presents a clean, unbroken front.

Practical from back edge to floor

The scalloped back edge lets leads fall away from the work surface without trapping them against the wall, keeping the 25mm thick top clear for actual work. Below, the cantilever frame runs its feet under the desk, so what space the pedestal does not use remains open for a chair pulled fully in. The top itself is rated to 135kg, which covers monitors, equipment and quite a lot of paperwork besides.

All three widths, 120cm, 140cm and 160cm, come at a full 80cm depth. The finish range runs Beech, Grey Oak, Maple, Oak, Walnut, White and a two-tone White and Natural Wood, on black, silver or white legs, so the desk can match the room or quietly improve it.

    Scalloped front and a pedestal underneath. Comfortable to work at and the storage is genuinely useful. The pedestal sits slightly further under than I expected, worth checking the drawing.
