Higher level working without a new chair

Draughtsman chairs exist because ordinary desks are not the only place people work: drawing boards, laboratory benches, reception counters and packing stations all sit higher than a standard chair can reach. Rather than buying a second chair, this kit converts many of our standard height operator chairs for higher level working. The extended high rise gas lift provides the height, and because dangling feet make for tired legs and poor posture, the foot ring adjusts to put support exactly where its user's feet fall.

Glides, not castors, and for good reason

A tall chair on castors is a chair that can scoot off as you climb aboard. That is why the kit includes glides and why we recommend using them in place of castors: they overcome the instability of castors on higher chairs, keeping the chair planted while its user is perched well above desk height. The whole kit weighs 10.5kg in tough metal and plastic, built for the working end of a workshop or lab rather than the showroom end.

    Everything in one box

    The complete kit has the taller gas lift and the footring together, so no working out which bits you need. Converted two standard chairs for our high counters. Instructions could be clearer on the footring.
