Posture without a backrest

A conventional chair supports your back; a kneeling stool asks your back to support itself, and makes that easy. The kneeling position rocks the pelvis forward, which straightens the lower spine and leaves you sitting tall over the desk rather than curling towards it.     Takes some getting used to

    The kneeling position has helped my lower back but I can only do a couple of hours before my shins have had enough. Height adjustment is smooth. Worth trying if you have back trouble, but do not expect to sit in it all day.
