Fabric Office Chairs

Fabric office chairs for every weight of use: the ISO stacker that lives in the meeting room, and Chiro posture chairs built to survive a 24 hour shift.

Fabric wears in. It does not wear out. That is why most British offices are sitting on it. Tick it and 77 chairs remain. Luna and Eclipse Plus hold up the task chairs. The ISO stacker sits in reception and visitor seating. There are padded fabric seats on the mesh backed models, and Chiro runs through the ergonomic ranges. The cheapest is £16.

Upholstery is an option on the chair, so untick fabric and the leather versions of the same models come straight back. Everything else in the panel still applies: back height, arms, colour, frame and budget. That £16 floor is a stacking visitor chair. Most of this seating is stocked, not made to order.

Frequently asked questions

What does fabric mean here?

Woven contract fabric rather than leather or mesh. It is the everyday office covering: warmer to sit on than leather, better at hiding wear, and available in far more colours.

Is fabric the practical choice?

For most offices, yes. Contract fabric is rated for rub and wear, hides marks better than leather and costs less. Where things get spilled on daily, a wipeable surface is the better answer.

What are the alternatives?

Fabric, leather and leather-look, and mesh, and plenty of chairs combine them: a mesh back with an upholstered seat is the most common arrangement in contract seating. Each product page gives the full material breakdown.

Is this page kept up to date?

It is a live cut of the catalogue rather than a hand-written list, so it always shows what we can actually supply today. There are 100 chairs on it at the moment, from £16. Anything out of stock is hidden, so if you can see it and add it to a basket, we can get it.

How long does delivery take?

Most of this selection is made to order, so allow 10 to 15 working days. Delivery itself is still free. A few lines are stocked and move faster, and every product page shows the date it will arrive by before you pay.

What warranty does it come with?

Each product carries the manufacturer's warranty and the period is stated on that product's page, often broken down by part: the structure for one length of time, the mechanism and the fabric for another. If something fails inside the warranty, report it from your order page and we deal with the manufacturer for you.

Can I see it in 3D?

72 of the 100 products in this selection have a 3D model on the page rather than only photographs. The viewer spins the actual model, and changing a colour or a size on the page changes the model with it, which is worth doing before committing a whole room to a finish.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

On stocked items, yes: tell us within 14 days of receiving them and raise it from your order page, with the goods unused and back in their packaging. Most of this range is made to order, though, and made-to-order goods cannot be cancelled once acknowledged or returned because you have changed your mind. Each product page says which it is before you buy.

Can you quote for a whole office?

Yes. For twenty items or more, or anything with a complication like a mezzanine or a lift that argues back, we plan the job and give you one quote covering the goods, delivery and installation. Ring 0208 138 0512 or email [email protected] with a rough list or a floor plan.
