The scalloped edge is the simple fix: a smooth cut-away along the rear of the top that gives every lead a clean route down behind the desk, however close to the wall it sits, and wherever the top happens to be in its travel.     Comfortable to lean into

    The scalloped cut out means I can sit closer without the edge digging into my forearms, which was the whole reason I bought it. Finish is even and the top has not marked after four months.
